LeRoy Softball League is always looking for volunteers to help with field days in order to get the fields ready to play. If your interested in helping out, please join us... we would love to have you there.

***NEW BLEACHERS!
LeRoy Softball is in the process of purchasing New Bleachers. They are due to be assembled and installed by Mid-May. The LYSL Board is asking for assistance in assembling the Bleachers, please Contact Brian Gidley, director@leroytwpsoftball.com to see how you can assist.

League News

Leroy Softball Board is really Excited about the 2012 year. Please join us in Cheering on our Kids!

2010 - LeRoy Softball and several volunteers worked hard last year in correcting the standing water problem on Field #2. A curtain drain was installed which removed the water and made the field playable. We haven't stopped there though.

2011 - The fences were straightened, safety wings were installed, and back stops extended. Due to the pitchers not being able to see on sunny days, nets were installed on the backstops to shade the sun on some of the fields

2011 - The Board of Directors has also applied for a Grant that will allow us to purchase 3 sets of new bleachers (6 Bleachers total) and build a storage building to store all equipment bags, field maintenance equipment, lime, field dry, etc. Let's keep our fingers crossed. ***Unfortunatly we did not get the grant.. we missed it by only a couple points. We will be re-applying again when funds are available.

2012 - Ditch was dug along the tree line to stop some of the water running onto your fields. This water is now being diverted so it seems to be helping. Barns were paintered fields were reworked and concrete pads for the bleachers were ordered.

About Leroy Youth Softball

LeRoy Youth Softball has been providing area youth the opportunity to play in a recreational and competitive softball league for more than 40 years. The Leroy Softball Volunteers are the heart of this organization and have kept this league sustainable over that time. We offer 7 softball fields for boys and girls ranging from 4 year old t-ball through teenage leagues. We also offer girl’s recreational fast pitch for ages 8 and up.

We pride ourselves on the relaxing, family-oriented, and instructional softball environment in the rural setting of LeRoy Township, Ohio.

Welcome to the On-Line Registration System. This system will allow you to register for any league in Leroy Youth Softball. We are all busy enough these days so our Goal at Leroy Softball is to make your registration experience easy and efficient.
